Puzzling on the Pedals is no ordinary bike ride. Together with your family or friends, you’ll hop on your bikes for an interactive treasure hunt through Julianadorp and the surrounding countryside. Using an app on your smartphone and a special puzzle cart, you’ll search for clues, solve riddles and work your way step by step towards the final destination.

What makes this cycling escape special is that it’s not just the tasks that matter, but the surroundings too. Along the way, you’ll pass dunes, nature reserves and characteristic spots in and around Julianadorp. So take a good look around, because a road sign, a colour or even an animal could just be the key to the next task.

How does it work?

You set off with a group of 3 to 8 people. Attached to the back of one of the bikes is a special cart with various compartments secured by locks. In each compartment, you’ll find new tasks and clues.
By solving puzzles and answering questions correctly, you’ll discover the code that grants access to the next challenge. This way, you cycle from location to location whilst working together, thinking things through and, above all, having lots of fun.Have you successfully completed all the tasks? If so, there’s a little surprise waiting for the whole group at the end.

To play the bike escape game, you’ll need a smartphone running Android 7.0 or higher, or iOS 13.0 or higher. The app uses GPS and mobile data, so make sure your phone’s battery is fully charged before you set off.
